The photo of a Monarch butterfly entitled, " Missing the Meadow" is autobiographical in way. I'm still not able to get out and do any nature photography. Without my equipment and my health, it's not
going to happen. I apologize for using last years files, but there are so many I haven't sifted through yet. I miss the outdoors greatly and this time of year has always been a favorite of mine.  I really hope
that I can turn things around before too long.

I continue to look for and appreciate every favorite and enjoy all the comments. As I add more photos, I can recall taking every shot and the joy it gave me. The birds were especially entertaining
and some even appeared to pose. This site is full of wonderful and talented people from all walks of life. I want to contribute the best work that I can and hope I always have a good photo to share.
Do to health and financial reasons, I had to sell off my cameras and gear.  I've since moved into a 375 square foot studio apartment and I'm trying to get back on my feet.
Luckily I have a lot of photos that I've yet to go through. I was blessed to be able to capture the wildlife and hope I did them justice. I'd like to thank all of my watchers and invite you to watch for more photos.

i have many demons and sneaking through brush to take wildlife photos was always good therapy. I'm purely a hobbyist and would really like to upgrade my skills someday. I think I may have over processed
some of my photos in the past and learned that it's not necessary. A good photo doesn't need much attention, and stands on it's own merit. This is my first journal and I hope to post more in the future.
